Hello, my name is Taylor Witthuhn! I'm a born and raised Wisconsinite who graduated from Madison College and is hunting for a job in the field. I have an undying passion to create, and a growing love for art, animation in particular. My ultimate dream is to work in the animation industry, making shows and films to share with the world. Even if I don't achieve that goal, I still want to live out my entire life creating.
So, about the logo.
The cactus logo itself is a reference to an old family joke. When I was around the age of 8 years old, I was tasked with a book report and diorama of the tale of Cinderella, but in the old west.
Once my project was made, I presented it to my family. Upon seeing the diorama, my younger sister raised her hand politely, and commented: "I like the flowers on your cactus." Naturally, we found the comment endearing. Afterward, anytime there was a family presentation, someone always had to comment "I like the flowers on your cactus."
As I grew older, that comment always stuck with me, encouraging me to continue onward with my passion for art. It's not just a cute family moment, but also a reminder of what I can do as an artist, and an imagery I now associate with my creative drive. My Etsy store even reflects that with its name: "Flower Cactus Studio".
